Chateau La Chaire is nestled on the side of Rozel harbour on the east coast of Jersey, mainly hidden from view by its surrounding woodland, only a couple of minutes’ walk to the tiny and picturesque harbour village.

The north eastern coast of Jersey is steep and rugged, and offers an infinity of nooks and crannies to explore - from the rocks leading down to La Coupe bay to walking the beautiful Green Lanes around the fields. Spectacular views to France and Les Ecrehous will often surprise.

The building was old style - grand and elegant but I was disappointed with the room we were allocated. It was on the 2nd floor and although...

Possibly the best hotel my partner and I have stayed in. It's a beautiful quiet spot; the room was very comfortable and as is the rest of the hotel, immaculately kept and maintained.

Three choices to dine: in the oak-panelled dining room, (ideal for an intimate candle-lit evening), or less...

Only us at meal times except for last morning when another couple said exactly the same... thank goodness there is someone else here! Room...
