The Train Experience

The Belmond British Pullman is a sister train to the legendary Venice Simplon Orient-Express and travels to spectacular UK destinations from London and other UK cities. Designed by George Mortimer Pullman during the golden age of travel, the train has a long history of transporting many world dignitaries including members of the Royal Family.



Having survived the London air raids during the Second World War, Ione, Ibis, Audrey and Vera are amongst the vintage carriages magnificently restored to their former 1920s glory. Step in to instantly experience the magic of the Venice Simplon Orient-Express without ever leaving Britain.


Chefs will board the train before you do to prepare fine dining menus inspired by the rolling countryside. Central to the journey, your culinary experience will be amongst the best gastronomic ones you will have in the UK. Quite remarkable considering the cupboard-sized kitchen the meals are produced from!


Enjoy a glass of champagne at any time and relax in the company of attentive, discreet and dedicated staff.

    Departing from London Victoria Station, the Belmond British Pullman train experience starts with you choosing the theme that best suits your occasion: Celebrations, Dining Experiences, Great British Destinations or Sporting Events. Steam hauled trains can be booked on some destinations.

    Whatever your choice, expect a round-trip aboard the train, delicious and refined seasonal cuisine, champagne and fine wines and stunning views of the great British countryside.
