Mid 2023, after numerous inspections this wonderful hotel has been awarded a 4 star status by Visit Guernsey. The Peninsula is a purpose built hotel facing the ocean on the north-west coast of Guernsey. The hotel is one of the largest on the island and sits within five acres of its own land, pretty much surrounded by the coast.
The facilities are comparable to those of a resort hotel with the outdoor swimming pool, children’s playground, Pitch and Putt, volleyball, pétanque and table tennis amongst the activities and entertainment on offer.

There is a selection of single, double, twin, family and inter-connecting rooms.
All rooms are en-suite and equipped with satellite television, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, and tea and coffee facilities.

The restaurant offers a Table d’Hôte and à la carte menus, serving mainly Guernsey produce and specialising in local fresh fish.
Rendez-Vous Bar
Opens daily for light lunches and dinners with daily specials.
Location
The Peninsula faces the magnificent Grand Havre Bay and has the sandy Baie de Port Grat at its rear.

I have stayed here many times due to the location. I think it is quite pricey compared to other hotels on the island and the location is clearly factored into this. Cleanliness and attention to detail need to be looked at. Quiet time of year when I visited . Very dirty bedroom carpet, towel rail in bathroom...
